TATTOO AFTERCARE

(If any type of DERMA SHIELD has been put on your tattoo please leave on at least 24 hrs up to 7 days.)

ONCE YOU REMOVE THE BANDAGE, DO NOT RECOVER YOUR TATTOO!

*Wash tattoo three times daily with antibacterial soap and water.

*Apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare cream 2-3 times daily until tattoo has healed.

*Remember that your tattoo needs to be kept clean.

*Your tattoo needs to breathe and it should not be irritated.

KEEP TATTOO OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT &

DO NOT SUBMERGE IN WATER FOR AT LEAST TWO WEEKS

The American Association of Blood Banks requires a donor

to wait 12 months after getting a tattoo UNLESS the tattoo is

performed in a facility monitored by a State Health Organization,

utilizing new sterile needles for each customer. All South Carolina

tattoo facilities are monitored and inspected by SCDHEC.
